TMJ massage is a specialized therapeutic technique aimed at alleviating pain and discomfort associated with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. This massage focuses on the muscles around the jaw, face, neck, and shoulders. Techniques include gentle pressure, myofascial release, intra-oral muscle release, and trigger point therapy to reduce muscle tension, improve jaw function, and relieve symptoms such as jaw pain, headaches, ear pain and muscle stiffness.
With a background in dental hygiene and extensive massage training, I bring a unique blend of skills to address TMD comprehensively. Assessment and 60 minute session with follow-up visits as needed.

It involves the use of low-frequency sound waves that are transmitted through a device, which the person lies on or sits in. These sound waves create gentle vibrations that resonate through the body, helping to release tension and stimulate the body's natural healing processes.
What are the benefits of Vibroacoustic Therapy?
VAT is often used to treat conditions such as chronic pain, stress, anxiety, sleep issues and muscle tension.
What can I expect from a VAT session?
You will lay down on the cushioned massage table, where you will be given headphones, an eye pillow and a warm blanket. You will be fully immersed with specially recorded music or guided meditations that will quickly bring your body's nervous system to a calm and relaxed state. .
How do I schedule a VAT session?
There are a few different options of how to schedule your VAT session. For instance, you can come in and have a stand alone VAT session or a session before your scheduled therapeutic massage. We also offer VAT during your massage or directly following your massage. A stand alone session can be 10 to 60 minutes. The therapy is non-invasive and can be customized to suit your needs, making it a versatile and accessible option for many people.
When is VAT not recommended?
Vibroacoustic therapy (VAT) is generally safe, but there are certain conditions where it might not be recommended. Here are some common contraindications:
